Call for Submissions

Public health is in a state of emergency (may be understating a bit), and your personal narratives of service and dedication have never been more critical. As you continue to face the onslaught of injustice and abuse, know that your work mattered. Your stories matter. You matter. Share the moments that remind you why you love what you do (and why society should too), and take back your narrative.

Intervention: Quilt is a literary journal started by former/at-risk/current (but disgruntled) public health servants taking inspiration from the NAMES Project AID Memorial Quilt. Our inaugural issue aims to honor, remember, and celebrate the legacy of public health workers by offering a creative, cathartic space.

Intervention: Quilt will publish submissions online on a rolling basis and in a physical issue of curated submissions quarterly. Submissions accepted for the physical issue will receive a complimentary copy!
